We are now looking to connect with passionate Science Teachers seeking permanent opportunities across KS3 and KS4.

The role

As a Permanent Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science, depending on your specialism.

You will take responsibility for:

* Planning and delivering Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Preparing students for GCSE Science qualifications
* Creating engaging practical and theory-based learning experiences
* Maintaining safe and effective classroom and laboratory practice
* Assessing progress and supporting student achievement
* Contributing to the Science department and wider school community

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have:

* QTS or QTLS
* A degree or relevant background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science
* Experience teaching Science within secondary education
* Strong classroom management and communication skills

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

* Experience preparing students for GCSE Science
* Ability to teach across combined science
* Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
* Experience working with science technicians and practical resources
