Personal Assistant to the General Manager & Managing Director
Location: Bromsgrove Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum Hours: Full Time, Office Based
Our client are a growing, ambitious business looking for an organised and proactive individual to provide day-to-day support to our General Manager and Managing Director.
This isn't a traditional PA role focused solely on diary management. Instead, we're looking for someone who enjoys being at the centre of the business, keeping things organised, solving problems, and ensuring the office runs smoothly. You'll be a confident administrator who can manage multiple priorities, use your initiative, and become a trusted support to the leadership team.
No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership.
PA Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the General Manager and Managing Director.
Manage and prioritise the Managing Director's inbox, responding or escalating emails where appropriate.
Coordinate diaries, meetings and appointments.
Arrange UK and international travel, including flights, hotels and itineraries.
Prepare meeting agendas, documents and presentations as required.
Take minutes and follow up on actions where necessary.
Order office stationery and supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
Support with office administration and help ensure the workplace runs efficiently.
Liaise with suppliers and external contacts.
Assist with organising company meetings and events.
Maintain accurate records, documents and filing systems.
Provide general administrative support across the business as required.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, dependable and enjoys supporting a busy team.
The successful PA will have:
Previous experience in an administrative, executive support or office support role.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to get involved wherever needed.
Professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
