Personal Injury Legal Assistant,
Salary - £23,000 - £25,000
Location - Chesterfield/Sheffield,
Contract - Full time, permanent.

Role Summary & Key Responsibilities:

• Support lead handlers with serious injury cases and case progression.
• Draft routine correspondence using ProClaim.
• Be the first point of contact for Fee Earners-handle calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
• Schedule appointments and manage incoming mail.
• Keep the case management system updated and accurate.
• Liaise with Finance on disbursements and accounts.
• Assist with admin tasks, document production, and call handling during busy periods.
• Meet monthly KPIs and support business needs as required.

Application Criteria:

• Given the nature of the role, prior experience in a personal injury legal setting is essential. While experience in multi-track personal injury or medical negligence claims is preferred, applicants with a background in fast-track claims will also be considered.
