A Personal Injury Paralegal is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is an award winning, national law firm with an excellent reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Paralegal to join their Chambers rated, Tier 1 Personal Injury team. The team is nationally recognised for their work in securing compensation for people who have suffered, often complex, injuries as a result of accidents.

As a Personal Injury Paralegal you will play a key role in supporting experienced solicitors across a range of personal injury cases but with a particular focus on cycling accidents.

Duties will include:

• Preparing and submitting CNFs/letters of claim
• Reviewing medical reports
• Drafting witness statements
• Drafting schedules of special damages
• Preparing instructions to medical experts and counsel
• Drafting court documents
• Researching case law on liability and quantum
• Preparing advice on liability, causation and quantum

Applications are invited from Paralegals or Litigation Executives with at least 1 years experience working on Claimant RTA cases, preferably with knowledge of cycling accident claims. You will have experience of handling RTA Portal files during Stage 1 and Stage 2 and have good understanding of the CPR and Portal rules.
