Personal Lines Account Executive

How you'll make an impact

You won't just manage accounts; you'll be a trusted advisor. You'll work closely with clients to truly understand their unique needs, crafting tailored insurance solutions for homes, motor and travel. We're looking for someone who can proactively manage renewals, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and insurers to uphold high standards.

The role offers the opportunity to inherit a significant book of business: manage a diverse book of personal lines clients. You will be expected to work 3 days per week in the Sheffield office and 2 days from home. This client believes in fostering an environment where their team can protect, excel, and succeed together.

What you’ll need to succeed in this role

We're seeking candidates with proven experience in an Account Executive role, ideally within the personal lines. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships, coupled with a deep understanding of bespoke insurance solutions, will be key to your success.

Essential attributes & skills-

• Proven experience in personal lines insurance.
• Experience in managing client relationships with a focus on delivering tailored insurance solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

Desirable skills-

• Knowledge of insurance markets.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., FCA, Consumer Duty).
• Strategic and consultative thinking, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service.
