Personal Tax Semi Senior

TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is working with a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Folkestone. This reputable practice, with a team of around 30 staff, is looking for a Personal Tax Semi Senior to join its growing tax department.

This is a personal tax focused role where you will work closely with the Tax Manager, supporting them across a wide range of compliance matters as well as getting involved in advisory projects. Key responsibilities

• Preparing tax computations for a portfolio of clients including individuals, sole traders and partnerships
  

• Supporting Managers and Partners with advisory work, primarily in CGT and IHT
  

• Liaising with clients, HMRC, and other offices/departments as required
  

• Preparing P11Ds and advising clients of upcoming deadlines
  

• Assisting junior staff where needed
  

Requirements

• AAT, ATT, ACA, or ACCA part qualified/qualified, or qualified by experience
  

• 1–3 years’ experience in practice within a personal tax role
  

• Strong experience preparing tax returns for review
  

• Familiarity with tax computation software
