Title: Personal Tax Senior
Location: Huddersfield, HD1
Hours: Full time, 3.30pm finish on Fridays
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000, DOE

We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Tax candidate to a chartered Accountancy Practice in Huddersfield. This role is currently going through a period of growth, including the acquisition of new tax clients so the team need someone who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage personal tax compliance for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Provide advisory services on personal tax matters, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and tax planning.
• Liaise with clients to resolve tax queries and provide excellent client service.
• Assist in payroll processing and related compliance tasks, leveraging payroll experience to streamline operations.
• Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and communicate impacts to clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Solid experience in personal tax compliance and advisory services.
• ACA, ACCA or ATT qualified, desirable
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
