This role as a Personal Tax Senior offers an exciting opportunity to manage and advise on a range of personal tax matters within a professional services environment. Based in the Royston / Letchworth / Biggleswade area, you'll provide high-quality tax support to clients, ensuring compliance and optimising tax outcomes with scope to develop in to some advisory work too.

Description

• Prepare and review personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Advise clients on tax-saving opportunities and strategies tailored to their individual circumstances.
• Assist clients with HMRC enquiries and liaise on their behalf to resolve issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the tax department.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and share insights with clients and colleagues.
• Support junior team members with their professional development and training.

Profile

A successful Personal Tax Senior should have:

• A professional qualification in accountancy or tax (e.g., ATT, CTA, or equivalent) - or be working towards one
• Proven experience in personal tax compliance or advisory work.
• A strong understanding of current tax legislation and practices.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly to clients and colleagues.
