Personal Tax Senior

A well established firm of Chartered Accountants in Beaconsfield is seeking to appoint a Personal Tax Semi-Senior or Senior to support the continued growth of its private client offering. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected independent practice known for delivering a high standard of compliance and tax advisory services.

The firm works with a wide ranging client base, including high-net-worth individuals, company directors, entrepreneurs, and UK/non-UK domiciled individuals. Responsibilities:

As a Personal Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of private clients and providing a mix of compliance and advisory services. The role includes:

• Handling all aspects of personal tax compliance for individuals, directors, partnerships, and non-resident clients
  
• Delivering bespoke tax advice, including CGT, IHT, residence and domicile, trusts, and share schemes
  
• Supporting ad-hoc and project-based advisory assignments
  
• Assisting with business development and contributing to client relationship management
  
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff, and contributing to team development
  

Requirements

• ATT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA qualified; CTA qualification or studies would be advantageous
  
• Solid experience in personal tax gained from a practice environment (Top 50, mid-tier, or independent firm)
  
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax legislation and advisory matters
  
• Able to manage compliance work independently, while contributing to wider advisory work
  
• A genuine interest in private client tax and a desire to develop in this area
