Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading firm of accountants in Swindon who are currently seeking a talented Personal Tax Senior to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on responsibility for a varied portfolio of private clients, combining compliance work with exposure to interesting advisory projects, all within a supportive and progressive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take ownership of personal tax compliance and advisory for a wide range of clients, including individuals, trusts, and estates.

• Review and sign off on returns, ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Support more complex planning projects—such as IHT, CGT, trusts, and property-related advice.

• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients and oversee workflow for junior team members.

• Stay on top of UK tax legislation and provide input into process improvements.

About You

• Qualified—or near-qualified—with ACCA, ACA, CTA, or ATT.

• Strong experience in personal tax within a UK practice environment.

• Excellent communication skills—you build rapport and explain complex matters clearly.

• Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing varied workloads effectively.
