The Role:

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality personal tax services to a broad range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, company directors, business owners, and landlords. You’ll also review junior team members’ work, provide guidance, and spot tax planning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns.

Handle a variety of cases, including non-resident, capital gains, and complex tax matters.

Support tax planning and advisory projects, working closely with senior colleagues.

Review and mentor junior staff, ensuring technical accuracy and best practice.

Maintain strong client relationships and be a trusted point of contact.

Liaise confidently with HMRC on behalf of clients.

About You:

ATT qualified essential; CTA qualification (or working towards) highly desirable.

Strong experience in personal tax compliance within an accountancy practice.

Solid technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.

Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
