Pest Control Specialist Job Description

The Pest Control Specialist is responsible for the prevention, identification, and control of pests in commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest biology and behavior, as well as the ability to use a variety of pest control methods.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect properties for signs of pests, such as rodents, insects, and other vermin


• Set traps and baits to capture and kill pests


• Apply pesticides and other chemicals to control pests


• Educate clients about pest prevention and control measures


• Maintain records of pest control activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in pest control or a related field


• 2-5 years of experience in the pest control industry


• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong customer service skills


• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
