Job Description - Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

What is Androlabs and when did we start? 

Founded in February 2021 with the acquisition of Testavan® and Vitaros® from Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Androlabs is a fast growing global men’s health pharmaceutical company. Our products are commercialised in 20+ countries throughout Europe, the UK and Australia. 

What is our mission and how do we work? 

Our mission is to improve outcomes for men, by helping them along their prevention and treatment journeys. We currently have two prescription products, which have already been used millions of times by men across the EU and beyond. However, this is not nearly enough – men tend to be under-diagnosed and under-treated (especially for the two conditions we currently focus on – low testosterone and erectile dysfunction).  

We are re-evaluating the traditional model of the pharma industry and developing an alternative solution by prioritising targeted, science-led prescriber engagement.  

We are now seeking a Sales Representative for the UK (Southern England focused) to be instrumental in driving growth. We need someone who can connect with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, to introduce them to our new treatment options and share our constantly developing men's health resources.

Responsibilities:

The Role

We are recruiting an Androlabs sales representative in the UK who will be covering London and key regions in southern England.  

What do you need to do to win? 

Our Sales Representatives will be instrumental in driving growth. As our current portfolio is made up of prescription medicines, we need to connect with healthcare professionals (doctor, nurses, pharmacists etc.) to introduce these new treatment options to them, and to share more about the men’s health resources we’re constantly developing.  

Who will you work with? 

The Sales Representative will be joining the UK team, which comprises a Sales Representative covering North England, a Sales Development Representative, and the UK Country Manager.  

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and Health Care Professionals through effective communication.
  • Leverage CRM tools to prioritise engagement with known stakeholders in your area
  • Send emails to and call specialists and nurses to answer questions, provide support for their treatment decision making, and to build relationships
  • Deliver product briefs (virtually or in hospitals) and share supporting materials
  • Track engagement with key stakeholders in our CRM system
  • Maintain a clear set of objectives and KPIs
  • Record and share learnings and insights to support marketing efforts

Must-haves:

  • Demonstrable experience promoting (prescription) products to healthcare professionals (pref. in secondary care / hospital setting)
  • Ability to build relationships over the phone and in person
  • Genuine interest in growing a men’s health platform
  • Willingness to travel when necessary.

Nice to have:

  • Experience selling testosterone or erectile dysfunction products
  • Experience selling to urologists or endocrinologists
  • Previous experience working with a CRM system
