Evolve is working with a brand-new client - an independent pharmacy chain in South Wales. If you’re looking to provide care and services for a closeknit community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Our client is seeking a GPhC registered Pharmacist Manager to effectively lead the team, grow services, and manage their busy branch in Ebbw Vale dispensing approximately 11,000 items per month.

This is a full-time permanent position working 35.5 to 42 hours per week, with an unpaid lunch as the store closes for 1 hour 15 minutes (1pm to 2:15pm). Store opening hours are Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm), except Thursday (9am to 5pm), and Saturday (9am to 1pm).

You will receive £26 to £30 per hour depending on your experience, and you will be supported by a close-knit team including 1 ACT, 3 Dispensers and 3 Counter Assistants.

Ideal backgrounds for thePharmacist Manager

• GPhC registered Pharmacist with some post-registration experience.
• Accredited and experienced in providing all Welsh NHS Services.
• Strong patient care skills, with a focus on empathy and communication.
• Proficiency in medication administration.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide expert advice on the safe use of medications.
• Monitor patients' drug therapies for interactions and side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and profiles.
• Oversee Pharmacy Technicians' work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
