Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you'll ensure the safe, legal, and clinically sound supply of medication - delivering care that meets the highest standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the Responsible Pharmacist and ensuring full compliance with GPhC regulations.
• Performing final accuracy checks on all prescriptions in line with SOPs.
• Leading and mentoring the dispensing team, fostering a culture of safety and growth.
• Driving Clinical Governance initiatives, including audits and risk management.
• Investigating and addressing any errors or near misses—proactively preventing reoccurrence.
• Staying current with CPD and pharmacy best practices.
• Managing drug-related queries from both patients and healthcare professionals.
• Handling all pharmacovigilance activities within required timelines.

Key Requirements:

• GPhC-registered Pharmacist with up-to-date CPD.
• Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
• Confident leadership with a collaborative mindset.
• High attention to detail and a patient-first approach
• Clear, empathetic communication skills.
