Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Moffat in Dumfries and Galloway.
First opened in 1844, this is Scotland's oldest pharmacy! Although Well branded inside, the pharmacy has retained its unique, vintage storefront. It is located in an affluent area with lots of walking spots nearby.
How our pharmacy makes a difference:
It dispenses

1,800 items per week ,
It provides

all national services ,
It provides a

substance misuse service to ten patients,
It dispenses

56 community blisters .
This pharmacy is open

9am-1pm, 2pm-5:45pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-4pm Saturday . The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of

five pharmacy colleagues,

including a

Pharmacy Technician .
Pharmacists applying for this role will be required to work every other Saturday.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.
You'll be focused on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.
You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

Package Description
On top of your salary:
We support all of our Pharmacists through the Independent Prescribing (IP) Qualification,
You can receive up to 15% of your annual salary, in bonuses, based on performance and delivery,
You can receive Relocation support (up to £8k) – this payment is dependent on job location and role. Please check the ‘salary’ section for this.
You can get a Welcome to Well bonus (£5K net payment) – This payment is exclusive to roles in certain locations. Please check the ‘salary’ section for this.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits.
