Pharmacy Dispenser

Our client is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join their team at their branch in Guildford, ideally working between 24-32 hours per week. Branch is open Monday to Friday, closing for lunch (1 hour) (8:45am to 6pm) & Saturdays (8:45am to 2pm).

Ideal backgrounds for the Pharmacy Dispenser

• NVQ Level 2 pharmacy dispensing qualification.
• Have existing pharmacy knowledge and good dispensing competence.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Be an excellent communicator whilst protecting confidentiality.
• Actively seek opportunity to develop self and apply knowledge.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Confidence with computers and PMR systems.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacy Dispenser

• Supporting the dispensing activities working closely with the Dispensary Manager to provide an excellent pharmacy service.
• Checking private and NHS prescriptions to be dispensed.
• Supporting the pharmacy team in improving and developing an accurate and efficient dispensary service.
• Supporting other dispensary team members on providing an excellent service.
