PHP Developer

My client are a leading, innovative B2B agency delivering imaginative, insight-led retail solutions—from flagship store fitouts to tailored digital experiences—for global brands. From design and production through to installation and maintenance, their agile and tech-driven teams pride themselves on exceeding expectations and pushing boundaries.
Due to their growth and success they are expanding their IT team and seeking a hands-on Software Developer to help evolve and maintain their own proprietary platform, along with web portals and integrations.

They have industry leading teams of installation & maintenance engineers who strive to achieve EFF% compliance for every installation or maintenance visit that takes place. To be able to deliver against their client’s evolving needs, they have developed their own live system for Online Stock Control and Reporting, which allows them to track every detail of their projects and revolutionises inventory management

What You’ll Do

• Own features in their platform (CRM, admin & portal systems)
• Update legacy .ASP code and drive new PHP development
• Work with MySQL (hosted in Azure)
• Build JS/AJAX-driven modules, reporting via HighCharts & Power?BI
• Implement best practices in architecture, testing, security, and performance
• Collaborate across teams and manage full project lifecycle

Skills & Experience

• Strong PHP and MySQL experience (Azure hosted)
• Familiarity with legacy .ASP and migration to modern stacks
• Proficient JavaScript (AJAX), HighCharts and Power?BI
• Understanding of web portals: CRM, installer, admin
• Comfortable with testing, deployment, and agile workflows
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time managementHP13

Salary £40K-£45K (hybrid)
