Perfect Household Staff is proud to present a superb opportunity for a proactive and organised housekeeper/maid to join a prestigious residence in Belgravia. The principals – a married couple – spend only up to three months a year in the property, travelling extensively for the remainder of the time. The household is beautifully maintained and contains high-value finishes including marble, brass, silver, and fine antiques. The successful candidate will be one of two housekeepers working in shifts and must enjoy working as part of a team, be reliable, energetic, and have a calm and service-minded approach.

This is a live-in position situated in the heart of Belgravia, one of the most exclusive residential areas in London. Known for its elegant white stucco townhouses, garden squares, and high-end amenities, Belgravia offers an exceptional environment for private household professionals. With excellent public transport connections nearby, the property is well located for commuting on days off. The successful candidate will be provided with private accommodation in the form of a comfortable bedroom within the household. All meals are included, and there are no food-related expenses for the employee.

Working as a housekeeper/maid in a formal London residence requires an excellent eye for detail and the ability to care for luxury furnishings and garments. Duties will include general housekeeping, wardrobe management, and assisting the chef during service when the principals entertain guests. Experience working with delicate fabrics and designer clothing is essential, and the ability to maintain a structured cleaning schedule when the principals are both in and out of residence will be highly valued. A calm and co-operative approach is crucial, as you will work in tandem with another housekeeper to ensure the household runs seamlessly throughout the year.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper/Maid:

• General housekeeping to a high standard, including care of silver, brass, marble, and antique furnishings
  


• Wardrobe management, including handling delicate designer garments and seasonal organisation
  


• Working as part of a two-person housekeeping team on alternating schedules
  


• Assisting the household chef with serving meals during entertaining
  


• Maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the residence whether the principals are in or out of residence
  


• Liaising with other members of the household staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  


• Ensuring that all surfaces and materials are cleaned and preserved according to proper care protocols
  


• Taking initiative in creating and maintaining a proactive cleaning routine
  

Requirements for this Full -Time Housekeeper job:

• 3 years of relevant experience
  


• Driving license would be a bonus
  


• Checkable references
  


• UK working permit
