  About the Role:

  
  
  
  
  • Deliver engaging and dynamic Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a variety of sports, fitness activities, and health-related education, tailored to the needs and interests of female students.
  
  
  • Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans that promote skill development, tactical understanding, and physical fitness for all students, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
  
  
  • Coach school sports teams (specifically girls' teams) and contribute to the extracurricular sports program, promoting female participation and leadership in sports.
  
  
  • Assess student progress in practical activities, fitness assessments, and theoretical work, providing constructive feedback and celebrating achievements.

  Ideal Candidate:

  
  
  
  
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Physical Education.
  
  
  • A good understanding of sports coaching principles, fitness training methodologies, and health education, with an awareness of gender-specific considerations in sports and physical activity.
  
  
  • Experience coaching a variety of sports, ideally including both individual and team activities, with a focus on female participation and development.
  
  
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire female students of all abilities and backgrounds.
  
  
  • A passion for promoting healthy lifestyles, positive body image, and the empowering impact of physical activity for young women.
