Physical Education Teacher | Harrow | Easter Start

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join an Outstanding Catholic College in Harrow, starting after the Easter break. This is a full-time, temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.


• Prepare students for practical assessments and examinations.


• Develop students' physical fitness, skills, and understanding of sports and health.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular sports activities.


• Uphold the school’s ethos of teamwork and support.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education.


• Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.


• Strong knowledge of sports and physical activities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.


• A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
