Physics Teacher

You would be working in a highly successful Science department teaching Physics across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is exceptionally well-equipped with modern laboratories, specialist apparatus and experienced technician support, enabling students to develop excellent practical and theoretical scientific knowledge.

Students study a broad curriculum including electricity, forces, waves, energy, mechanics and astrophysics while developing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The department has a strong record of examination success, with many students progressing to engineering, physics and other STEM-related university courses.

Teachers work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons, develop innovative teaching resources and provide targeted intervention to support students of all abilities. The department also offers a variety of STEM enrichment opportunities including science fairs, engineering projects, educational visits and university partnerships.
