An 'Outstanding' All-Through School based in the Borough of Lewisham are seeking a Physics Teacher / Physics ECT to join their excellent team of support staff, starting in September 2025!

This Physics Teacher / Physics ECT role is a full-time permanent role and is the ideal position for experienced Physics Teachers and ambitious Physics ECTs looking to express their creativity, ingenuity and inspire young minds.

This excellent school is seeking a Physics Teacher / Physics ECT to teach and support students across KS3, KS4 and KS5 with a strong focus on high-quality education and enrichment. The school installs a sense of engagement, self-worth and academic proficiency within their pupils, leading to exceptional exam success - GCSE and A-Level results are within the 1% of UK schools.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Physics Teacher / Physics ECT
• Working throughout KS3, KS4 and KS5 alongside a fantastic team of Physics Teachers / Physics ECTs and support staff
• Full-Time, Permanent position - September 2025 start
• Located in the heart of Lewisham
• Plenty of CPD opportunities throughout
• Additional TLRs available: Key Stage Co-ordinator, Subject Lead, Lead Practitioner and more
• A creative role within a school centred around creativity and self-expression
• MPS1 - UPS3 + TLRs (dependent on experience)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Physics Teacher / Physics ECT with UK QTS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An experienced Physics Teacher or ambitious Physics ECT seeking opportunities for progression
• A passionate artist looking to inspire and motivate children aged 11-18 years
• The ability to listen to and respond to feedback
