A specialist insurance business is seeking an Assistant Underwriter to join their busy Financial Lines team and specialise in Professional Indemnity.

The Assistant Underwriter will underwrite both new and existing UK SME PI business, with typical premiums between £7000 and £12,000. The role will entail research and analysis on risks, building relationships with both regional and London Market Brokers, helping to grow the portfolio and preparing policy documents.

Experience in Professional indemnity is essential for this role and the preferred candidate would be in an Underwriting Assistant role, looking to step up. Progress with CII exams would be ideal, along with excellent communication skills.
