Job Title: Claims Handler – RTA/EL/PL
Location: South East London (Hybrid – 2 days in-office, 3 days WFH)
Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)

The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Claims Handler to join a dynamic team. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone with a strong background in handling Employers’ Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL) and Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a varied caseload from initial instruction through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle EL, PL and RTA claims efficiently and independently
• Assess liability and quantum, and negotiate settlements where appropriate
• Liaise with clients, insurers, solicitors and third parties
• Maintain accurate file records in line with internal procedures and compliance requirements
• Ensure cases are progressed in accordance with Pre-Action Protocols, CPR, Practice Directions, and relevant statute and case law
• Provide clear advice and updates to clients throughout the claims process

The Candidate:
Previous experience handling RTA / EL / PL claims is essential, ideally within an insurance company or law firm. You must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of relevant legal procedures, protocols and case law and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be well-organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload independently. This role may suit an experienced Paralegal with a claims background
