Join a leading provider of legal and insurance services with over 30 years of expertise. We are looking for a Personal Injury Paralegal to assist a Senior Fee Earner in managing both litigated and non-litigated serious personal injury claims. This role is ideal for individuals who are adept at handling complex cases and are committed to delivering exceptional client care.

• Handle all aspects of personal injury claims, particularly those of high value or technical nature.
• Continuously assess risks associated with cases, focusing on liability, contributory negligence, causation, and quantum.
• Notify and consult with your fee earner upon receiving any settlement offers.
• Engage with various organisations for client support, including charities like Headway.
• Attend necessary court hearings across Magistrates Court, Crown Court, or Coroners Court.
• Gather essential evidence, liaise with medical experts, and manage discovery documents.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, applications, and witness statements under supervision.
• Utilize and manage digital platforms for securing and analyzing medical records.
• Instruct Counsel and attend legal conferences and mediations.
• Engage in mentoring and training within the team as required.

• Proven experience in managing a litigated caseload or assisting with serious injury cases.
• Strong client care and analytical skills, capable of delivering clear and concise advice.
• Effective communication skills to build rapport with external agencies throughout the claim process.
• Availability outside normal working hours for client communication.
• Proficient IT skills, including VF or similar case management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a flexible approach to problem-solving.
