PI RTA - Pre Litigation Team

Job Title: Pre-Litigation Personal Injury / RTA Fee Earner

Salary: £25,000+ DOE

Overview:
A well-established and expanding law firm based in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury / RTA Fee Earner to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a solid background in handling road traffic accident claims who is ready to take the next step in their legal career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of pre-litigated RTA matters from initial instruction through to settlement
• Progressing claims via the MOJ and OIC portals efficiently and effectively
• Maintaining regular contact with clients, insurers, medical agencies, and other third parties
• Assessing liability and quantum, and negotiating settlements where appropriate
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
• Meeting and exceeding individual and departmental performance targets

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a caseload of pre-litigation RTA claims
• Strong knowledge of the MOJ and OIC portal systems
• Excellent time management, organisational, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Client-focused approach with a keen eye for detail
• Experience with Proclaim case management system is advantageous but not essential
