This is a long-term contract opportunity with an immediate start available, supporting operational teams working on major water and utilities projects.

The Role

As a Pick Up Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to site teams working across North London and surrounding areas. You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of water and utilities works by ensuring crews have everything they need to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and deliver materials, plant, tools, and equipment to site teams
Support operational crews working on water and utilities projects
Carry out daily vehicle checks and inspections
Maintain delivery records and relevant paperwork
Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials
Keep the company vehicle clean and roadworthy
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence
Previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Transport Driver, or Pick Up Driver
Good knowledge of North London and surrounding areas
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
Previous experience within the utilities, construction, or water sector is advantageous
Ideally hold a valid Thames Water Passport
Experience working on Thames Water projects or frameworks would be highly beneficial
