Temporary Production Operative / Pick Packer – Immediate Starts

We're recruiting Production Operatives / Pick Packers for an immediate start with a leading fresh produce business. This is a fantastic temporary opportunity offering full-time hours, weekly pay and full training.

💰 Pay

£12.71 per hour

🕒 Working Hours
7:00am – 2:45pm
Monday to Friday
15-minute morning break (unpaid)
30-minute lunch break (unpaid)
Opportunities for earlier start and finish times depending on business needs

📦 The RoleYou'll rotate between the Packhouse and Glasshouse, carrying out a variety of production and pick packing duties.

Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing fresh produce
Packing tomatoes and cucumbers into trays and containers
Quality checking products before dispatch
Preparing orders for distribution
Working on a busy production line
Labelling and packing products
Harvesting fresh produce
Supporting general crop maintenance
Maintaining excellent food hygiene standards
Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised

✅ What We're Looking For
Previous pick packing, production operative, warehouse, factory, food production, or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable standing for long periods
Good attention to detail
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work well as part of a team
Willing to follow health & safety and food hygiene procedures
