Public Protection Investigator - Isle of Man Constabulary (12‑Month Deployment)

£193.13 per day + accommodation + flights Start: ASAP

We are seeking experienced PIP2‑accredited investigators to join the Isle of Man Constabulary for a 12‑month deployment supporting serious and complex safeguarding investigations. This is an excellent opportunity for detectives with strong Public Protection, RASSO, Domestic Abuse or safeguarding backgrounds to work within a high‑performing team in a unique jurisdiction.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing serious and complex investigations from start to finish, including:

Domestic abuse, sexual offences and child protection investigations

Managing high‑risk victims, offenders and vulnerability

Multi‑agency safeguarding work (MARAC / MAPPA)

Evidence gathering, case building and interview work

Trauma‑informed, victim‑focused practice

This is a hands‑on operational role requiring confident decision‑making, strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with partner agencies.

Duration: Up to 12 months

Pay: £193.13 per day

Hours: 40 per week (Mon-Fri) + 1 weekend in 6

Accommodation: Provided (shared)

Flights: 3 return flights to/from the UK included

Holiday: 28 days (including bank holidays)

Essential Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

PIP2 accreditation

Recent experience in Public Protection, safeguarding, RASSO, Domestic Abuse or serious/complex investigations

Ability to manage a caseload end‑to‑end

Strong victim‑focused approach

Experience working within multi‑agency safeguarding frameworks
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
