Salary: £17.00–£21.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 4-day working week
 
We are currently recruiting for experienced Pipe Benders to join a specialist manufacturing business in Downton. This is a great opportunity for someone with tube or pipe bending experience who enjoys working with precision components in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

Set and operate manual and/or CNC pipe-bending machinery.
Bend pipes and tubes to specified angles, dimensions and tolerances.
Select and fit the correct tooling for each job.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, job cards and manufacturing instructions.
Check completed components using appropriate measuring equipment.
Identify and report defects, dimensional issues or tooling problems.
Complete production and traceability documentation.
Maintain tooling and machinery.
Keep the working area clean and organised.
Follow all quality, Health & Safety and manufacturing procedures. 
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in pipe bending, tube bending or tube forming.
Experience setting and operating relevant bending equipment.
Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understanding of dimensional tolerances and inspection requirements.
Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium or similar materials would be advantageous.
Aerospace, automotive or another precision manufacturing background is desirable.
Reliable, quality-focused and able to work accurately with limited supervision. 
What's On Offer

£17.00–£21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
4-day working week
Five weeks' holiday, rising to six weeks.
