We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter / Welder to join an established engineering business on a permanent basis.

The RoleYou will be responsible for the fabrication, fitting and welding of stainless-steel pipework and associated assemblies.

Key responsibilities:

Stainless-steel manual and orbital TIG welding

Pipe fitting, fabrication and assembly

Working from fabrication and process drawings

Fabricating stainless-steel frameworks and brackets

Cutting, grinding and drilling stainless-steel components

Completing weld logs and quality documentation

Assembly of pipework, valves, pumps and associated components

Supporting onsite installation and maintenance when required

Working safely and maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements
Previous experience in pipe fitting and/or TIG welding

Stainless-steel welding experience

Ability to read and interpret technical/fabrication drawings

Competent with hand and powered tools

TIG welding certification is desirable but not essential

Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering £22–£27 per hour, depending on experience.
