Pipefitter

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Pipefitter to join our clients team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, brazing, modifying, testing, and recommissioning refrigeration pipework across commercial and industrial projects.

!Open to candidates that live 100 mile radius to Yeovil but willing to travel!

Key Responsibilities

Install refrigeration pipework in accordance with technical drawings and project specifications.

*

Carry out copper pipe preparation, fitting, bending, and brazing.

*

Install suction, liquid, and discharge pipework, including associated supports and fittings.

*

Carry out nitrogen purging during brazing and assist with pressure testing and leak detection.

*

Undertake pipework modifications, replacements, and system recommissioning.

*

Assist refrigeration engineers with system preparation and commissioning activities.

*

Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety, and site cleanliness.

*

Work effectively with site teams to meet project deadlines.

Essential Requirements

*

Proven experience in refrigeration pipefitting.

*

Competent in refrigeration pipework installation and brazing.

*

Knowledge of refrigeration systems and installation practices.

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

*

Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.

*

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
