*Location: *Glasgow – Govan and Scotstoun – Based on site and must be able to attend a recruitment day in Glasgow. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
*Salary:* £36,217.00 (shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)
\*Requirements: Trade Papers to be provided\*
*What you’ll be doing:*
* Fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials (copper, cuni and carbon steel)
* Using a range of hand tools & mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder and weld pipes
* Installing utilities aboard ship i.e., sinks, showers, and toilets
*Your skills and experiences:*
* Trade papers, e.g., formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers)
* Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, and use of associated equipment
* Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness
* Understanding of manufacturing processes
* Comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height
* Safety certification i.e., SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc
* Background in a major construction / manufacturing environment
