Pipefitter Supervisor

We are looking for a Pipefitter Supervisor for a permanent position based with our client in Scunthorpe.

Immediate start available (Subject to Interview process)

Rate of pay is £23.00 per hours (First 38 hours Monday to Friday)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pipefitter with strong supervisory and leadership skills to take responsibility for overseeing pipefitting operations, coordinating workloads and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial pipefitting, fabrication and installation, alongside the ability to lead a team and manage day-to-day site activities.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate a team of pipefitters and associated trades.
Oversee daily pipefitting activities, ensuring work is completed to project specifications and deadlines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework layouts and isometric drawings.
Plan and allocate workloads to ensure projects run efficiently.
Monitor the quality of pipework fabrication, installation and fitting.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Liaise with project managers, engineers and other site personnel.
Monitor progress and report any issues, delays or resource requirements.
Provide guidance and support to team members, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Carry out site inspections and ensure work meets the required specifications.Essential Requirements

Proven experience working as a Pipefitter within an industrial engineering or site services environment.
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader position.
Strong understanding of pipework fabrication and installation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and isometric drawings.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
Ability to manage workloads and work to project deadlines.
A proactive approach with the ability to resolve problems on site.SSSTS OR SMSTS world be desirable
