Job Responsabilities
- Lead the delivery of effective strategies and plans to support the development and demonstration of improvements to the SZC MEH piping scope during the phase 1 period of work.
- Effectively lead a small but high-performing team with autonomy, referencing back to senior leadership for guidance and support on critical matters.
- Operate effectively within a complex matrix organisation and in multidisciplinary working groups.
- Have adequate cross sector experience and communication skills to be able to influence key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Be a contributor to the overall output and related strategies of the MEH team.
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree Qualified or Equivalent.
- A proven and demonstrable track record of delivery in a high hazard, highly regulated environment.
- Experience of managing and co-ordination major EPC contractors, interfacing with a suite of suppliers, disciplines, stakeholders and integration of the same into the overall project program.
- Experience of developing plans and strategies which support HSE risk reduction, as well as schedule optimisation and cost reduction.
- Always adopting safe working practices in accordance with statutory and company operating procedures.
- Contribute to identification of potential Hazards and associated Risks, as well as other project risks, that may arise during execution of the works and propose the necessary safeguards and mitigations.
- Providing support as required to planning process and the preparation of specific workstream project risk assessments.
- Familiarity with Modern Methods of Construction and preference for demonstrable application of the same.
- Keeping abreast of new initiatives and technologies within the Construction discipline
- Adhering to the Company's Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures, and standards.
Experience
