Registered Home Manager | Residential & Dementia Care Home

Location: Gainsborough Nottinghamshire, DN10, (Commutable from, Doncaster, Retford)
Salary: £48,000 to £58,000 DOE, with realistic on-target earnings of £55,000 to £67,000
Job Type: Full time, permanent

About the Role

We're recruiting a Registered Home Manager for a well-established residential and dementia care home, part of a mission-led organisation that genuinely puts its people first. You'll be supported by a supernumerary Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead, and given real room to run the home your way, provided the residents are thriving and the CQC agrees.

This is a Registered Home Manager role for someone who wants to be properly backed, not just handed a rota and a prayer.

Key Responsibilities as Registered Home Manager

• Deliver outstanding, person-centred care in line with our client's mission and values


• Lead, motivate and develop your team, with a supernumerary Deputy and Clinical Lead in support


• Maintain full CQC compliance and drive continuous improvement across the home


• Manage occupancy and admissions to keep the home running at capacity


• Champion a positive, engaged culture, because happy teams make for happy residents

Skills and Experience Required for Registered Home Manager

• Minimum 6 months' experience as a Home Manager, or 2 years as a supernumerary Deputy Manager, in a residential or nursing setting


• NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or Registered Nurse qualification)


• Full UK driving licence


• Confident with email, Excel and Word


• Able to live within a 30 minute commute of the home


• NVQ Level 7 and a further two years' management experience preferred but not essential
