Placement Engineer 2026/27

Gravity Industries is redefining human flight. Our Jet Suits are used for everything from extreme sports to tactical military applications.

As a Student Placement Engineer you will be able to work on varied and rewarding tasks using your technical expertise and problem solving skills to assemble and maintain our Jet Suit systems. You will be working closely with our engineering, events, and training teams. Join a fast growing company and experience many different aspects of the engineering process. Responsibilities

• Build and test Jet Suits
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.
• Document production processes and maintain records for compliance and improvement.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to solve issues

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing tools.
• Background interest in technology and engineering.
• In the penultimate year of Undergraduate Engineering Degree

• Hands-On: There will be opportunities for you to test fly products and components that you have worked on (on our safe training system).
• Exciting work environment: We work from a 52 Acre farm in Somerset with a variety of workshops, vehicles, and testing facilities
