Job Description - Planner

Construction Planner – Devon
RGB Recruitment is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Construction Planner to join a respected Leading Tier One Contractor. This permanent role offers the chance to oversee project timelines and schedules across various stages, from tender through to delivery. Projects will range from £5m to over £50m in value.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and regularly review detailed project schedules.
Produce and monitor tender event schedules and procurement timelines.
Create site logistics plans, scaffold schedules, temporary power and water requirements, and temporary work schedules.
Compile data for tender settlements, including benchmarking and cost analysis.
Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site visits and assess progress against schedules, reporting findings.
Contribute to the project management report and populate planning and controls sections.
Ensure all planning documents align with the contract specifications.

Essential Requirements:

Proficiency in Asta Power Project software.
Competence in using Bluebeam (or similar software) for take-offs, logistics plans, etc.
Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contract conditions and their impact on planning.
Experienced Construction Planners with a background in large-scale commercial projects.
HNC or relevant construction qualification.
A valid driving licence.
