Town Planner - Forward-Thinking Consultancy | Altrincham | £30k-£37k

Are you a driven, early-career town planner with a passion for people and places?

We're partnering with a progressive and people-focused planning and development consultancy to find a Planner to join their vibrant and collaborative team based in Altrincham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional with around 2 years' experience to work on a diverse range of UK-based projects, grow their network, and play an active role in shaping the built environment in a company that values freedom, proactivity, and perspective.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Translating site research into high-quality written outputs

• Reviewing planning policy/history and contributing to strategy discussions

• Preparing clear and concise project updates and reports

• Leading on minor applications, liaising with design teams and monitoring progress

• Supporting business development and producing social media content

• Assisting in the preparation of site appraisals, statements, and planning applications

What We're Looking For:

• A Master's in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or similar

• Minimum 2 years' town planning experience

• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Confidence in managing tasks independently and working to deadlines

• RTPI Associate (or working toward full accreditation)

• Adobe Creative Suite skills are a bonus

• UK driver's license and access to a car is advantageous
