Planner – Central London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a highly regarded planning consultancy based in Central London. This firm works across a diverse range of projects including residential, commercial, mixed -use, and regeneration schemes, offering exposure to some of the most high -profile developments in the capital and across the UK.

The successful candidate will join an established team of planning professionals who advise a wide variety of clients, from developers and investors to landowners and local authorities. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that encourages professional development, career progression, and innovative thinking.

The Role

As a Planner, you’ll:

• Manage and assist with a wide range of planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals.
  

• Contribute to strategic planning advice and policy representations on behalf of clients.
  

• Liaise with local authorities, external consultants, and key stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.
  

• Support senior colleagues on complex and high -value projects while taking responsibility for your own caseload.
  

• Gain exposure to clients, site work, and committee representation as your role develops.
  

About You

• MRTPI qualified, or actively working towards chartered status within the next 12 months.
  

• Experience in a Local Authority planning department (ideally within a London Borough) is essential; any private sector experience would be advantageous but not required.
  

• A strong understanding of UK planning legislation, policy frameworks, and development management processes.
  

• Confident communicator with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  

• Ambitious, proactive, and eager to develop your career in a dynamic consultancy setting.
