UI Power T&D is seeking an established Planner to join the team. In this role, you will report to the Lead Planner and will work alongside an experienced delivery team. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reporting project schedules while assisting in creating detailed schedules and maintaining planning control structures. Requiring a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, experience in scheduling, proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong project management skills.

The Role
This position is ideal for an experienced planner from a major infrastructure or energy project background seeking a new challenge and career advancement. Proficiency in Primavera P6, familiarity with NEC frameworks are essential.

Typical responsibilities
Develop and maintain of resource loaded, logically linked detailed project programmes in Primavera P6
Monitor and control planning activities throughout all project stages
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and third parties to maintain accurate programmes
Prepare and distribute regular updates to project programmes and performance reports to support project delivery
Experience of working under NEC contracts including conducting delay analysis, and identifying project risks and change events
Participate in schedule risk analysis as needed

Expected:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent through vocational training/industry experience)
Established level of experience in planning role
Proficient in use of Primavera P6
Knowledge of NEC contracts, earned value analysis
Ability to develop and maintain project schedules
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Good written and verbal communication skills
