The Opportunity

We are seeking a Planner to join a growing and collaborative Planning team in the South West. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated planning professional looking to develop their career while working on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and development proposals.

* Provide planning advice to clients across a variety of sectors.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities.

* Support business development activities and help identify new opportunities.

* Contribute to project delivery, ensuring high-quality technical outputs.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.

About You

* MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.

* Experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or developer environment.

* Strong technical planning knowledge and report-writing skills.

* Good understanding of the South West planning market and policy environment.

* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.

* Proactive, commercially aware, and keen to develop professionally.
