Job Description - Planning Account Director (DACH)

We're looking for a digital native with experience delivering integrated, omnichannel media plans in the DACH market, with a passion for driving innovation and creativity which delivers results. You will be responsible for leading the planning for your dedicated client, liaising with our Digital Centre of Excellence and local activation planning teams to develop cohesive, locally relevant plans. We want someone who has a passion for working with clients, developing relationships externally and internally, and has a wealth of hands on planning experience.


You will work in an integrated and connected EMEA cross-market planning team and have high level of input in regional strategies and well as leading local planning.


Responsibilities


  • Define local planning recommendations across a portfolio of beauty brands, adapting the regional strategy with local insight and media market nuance

  • Cohesively lead and project manage complex media campaigns from strategy, planning, implementation, and reporting.

  • Build strong relationships with activation teams and work hand in hand on key briefs

  • Keep up to date with market media landscape changes and prepare updates for clients

  • Implement/lead/coordinate post campaign analysis, identifying learnings to feed back into regional and local planning

  • Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners internally and externally.


Requirements


  • You have strong advertising / media planning experience, majority gained in the DACH market

  • Have strong project management skills, that enable you to coordinate and drive clear communication across multiple working teams.

  • You have experience managing a global organisation spanning across multiple time zones

  • You are highly motivated, organised and entrepreneurial

  • You recognise the value in working as a team

  • You are energetic and willing to thrive in a high growth organisation

  • You have strong agency & brand relationships

  • You have great communication, consultative selling, problem solving and negotiation skills

  • You are able to present ideas, concepts and strategies.

  • You strategically use data and insights to advise client planning recommendations

  • You have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and trends around digital, programmatic, and relationships with local publications

  • You have experience in FMCG, beauty or luxury categories.
