Job Description - Planning Administrator

R13 is supporting a highly esteemed client, searching for a talented individual to join their supply chain team. The role boasts the perfect opportunity for someone with a strong admin and coordination background, who is looking to thrive in a fast-paced and fulfilling role where no two days are the same.

You will be responsible for managing stock levels, placing and managing customer orders through to delivery - using exceptional planning skills to ensure all transactions are managed effectively. With multiple stakeholder liaison and documentation handling, you will be able to showcase brilliant attention to detail and a natural drive for getting work completed. Alongside you will have the highest levels of service and ideally be experience in B2B relationship management. You will be solutions focussed and calm under pressure.

Salary is offered at £30000-£35000 DOE with the working hours are Mon-Fri 8-4.30 with an hour lunch break with 30 days holiday allowance (increasing incrementally). Occasional weekend & bank hol working is required at a maximum of 1 in 4, for short morning hours. The day to day

  • Part of a fast-paced supply chain team, responsible for a wide range of duties including administration, forecasting and transport.
  • Account management of clients, actively engaging in all necessary aspects and seeking greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Building and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings and communication.
  • Ensuring completion of delivery OTIF, liaising with stakeholders if issues have arisen.
  • Maintain product range with the highest standards of time planning.
  • Monitoring the performance of supply chain, ensuring achievement of SLAs.
  • Raising POs and carrying out invoice processing, ensuring accurate matching.
  • Updating stock availability sheets of products in the warehouse and in transit.

You will have/be:

  • Previous experience gained in a supply chain, logistics, or planning environment would be desirable but not essential.
  • OR solid employment history within a complex and organised commercial role.
  • Good numeracy skills, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can do attitude, not afraid to solve technical issues or problems.
  • Strong team player, ability to work alone but also part of a wider productive team.
  • An ability to engage and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • The ability to multitask and to work to deadlines in a busy environment.
