Planning & Environment Associate Solicitor (NQ - 2PQE)

This is an exciting new opportunity at a Legal 100 firm to join a highly ranked planning & environment team at Associate level – NQ to 2PQE.

This team advise on infrastructure and regeneration schemes, major residential and commercial developments and a broad range of high-value planning work for both public and private sector clients.

What are the role expectations:

• Advise clients on planning applications, planning strategy and development risk
• Negotiate and draft planning and infrastructure agreements (Section 106, Section 278)
• Provide support on national infrastructure projects and development consent orders
• Work closely with the real estate team on development projects

What experience is required:

• Experience in planning law is desirable but not essential – transferable skills in real estate, development or energy are considered
• A clear interest in planning and environmental law, and a desire to develop a career in this field
