Planning and Reporting Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Reporting Analyst to play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Network Asset Management Plan and associated Business Plans.

In this role, you’ll transform data into meaningful insight through high‑quality analysis, performance monitoring and reporting. Your work will support effective decision‑making, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively across Network teams and with external stakeholders, you’ll help enable increased delivery capacity, maximise customer value and support Cadent’s reputation for operational excellence.

What you’ll bring

• Management Information & Reporting – experience producing high‑quality MI and performance reports in a fast‑paced operational environment


• Data Analysis & Insight – strong ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and develop practical solutions


• Performance Monitoring – proven experience tracking delivery across multiple programmes against plan and regulatory requirements


• Process & System Knowledge – solid understanding of Cadent processes, systems and the wider commercial and regulatory context


• Regulatory & Governance Awareness – strong knowledge of relevant policies, regulations, standards and governance frameworks


• Communication & Translation – excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable insight


• Organisation & Prioritisation – highly organised and self‑motivated, able to manage competing priorities and meet challenging deadlines
