Planning Consultant

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning applications, including supporting documents.
  

• Draft Planning Statements, Appeal Statements, third -party objections and planning appraisals.
  

• Lead consultations with the Local Planning Authority and other stakeholders.
  

• Deliver confident public and client presentations.
  

• Attend local networking events and proactively develop new business opportunities.
  

• Collaborate with architects and wider consultants, providing clear, pragmatic planning advice.
  

About you

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong report -writing.
  

• Ideally 5+ years’ experience in planning consultancy or a related environment; high -potential graduates also considered.
  

• MRTPI preferred (or working towards), but not essential.
  

• Commercially aware, well -organised and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
