Planning Engineer

DCT Recruitment are currently recruiting for Planning Engineer to work with our client based in Deeside.

Responsibilities:
• Support project work program preparation in Primavera P6 together with related departments.
• To load resources to the work program in line with the project estimate.
• Continuously maintain/update project schedule to reflect the actual status of work.
• Monitor progress against the work schedule, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports in line with the project reporting timetable.
• To evaluate/approve the progress payment amounts of subcontractors in accordance with progress payment by cross-checking them with progress, productivity and warehouse stock status reports
• Calculate and report project schedule performance metrics.
• To plan blue-collar and white-collar personnel of the project with Project Management.
• Support change management processes and contribute to claim evaluations.
• Having knowledge of and preparing Delay Analysis
• Analyse the project data and communicate the project performance to all stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of MEP planning experience in industrial projects
• Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of a project lifecycle: design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Expert in Primavera P6 program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
