Planning Lead - Data Centre - Blyth

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Planning Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Programme Management

* Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the master project programme, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones, phasing strategies, and delivery objectives

Schedule Monitoring & Reporting

* Manage project progress tracking, producing accurate and timely reports, including critical path analysis, float management, and performance metrics to support informed decision-making

Cross-Functional Coordination

* Work closely with construction, engineering, and commercial teams to integrate all workstreams into the programme, ensuring sequencing, dependencies, and resource planning are effectively managed

Team Leadership & Planning Governance

* Oversee and mentor planning engineers, ensuring consistency in planning standards, programme controls, and adherence to best practices across all project packages

Client & Stakeholder Interface

* Engage with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to communicate programme expectations, manage changes, and ensure alignment with key milestones and project delivery requirements

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres

Must be based within a commutable distance of Blyth

Benefits

£80,000 - £100,000 + Package
